“ I heard about Milner from a friend of a friend. We took a ride over and we’re happily surprised. I’ve been back a couple of times and I’ve tried a few different dishes. My least favorite was the blackened chicken sandwich which reminded me more of fajita meat then something blackened. My favorite two have been the steak, flat bread and the burger. Both were excellent, seasoned very well in good size portions. As far as sides, the pasta salad is a little flat. Not a lot of flavor seasoning but the sweet potato chips are absolutely as good as they get. They are light and crispy and delicious. The staff is always terrific. The owner is there and everybody is actively engaged. It comes highly recommended. It does get very busy during the lunch hour so smart to come a little early or maybe even a little bit later than the lunch hour to avoid crowds. ”

The grits were creamy and my wheat toast tasted like it was fresh baked. The service was friendly as well. Definitely would go back on my next visit to the Wilmington area. ”

“ Food is always delicious, quality ingredients. Small restaurant but there are also out door tables plus picnic tables to sit on a nice day you can bring your dog. The bacon egg and cheese grit bowl is my favorite breakfast but the French toast is so yummy if you want something sweeter. I highly recommend this restaurant they close early so be sure to try them for break fast or lunch. Tucked away off of market street. ”
